It radiates strength and reflects in many rich colors. The artist presents here a dense, texture-rich composition that vividly captures the character of an autumnal field. In autumn, when the soil has just been plowed and shimmers in various tones, the ground appears rich, warm, and full of life. That is what this painting intends to show. In the lower area, earthy tones dominate \u2013 deep brown, red, and black \u2013 reminiscent of broken earth, moist clods, and the fading green of the fields. Between the dark areas, bright accents of yellow and orange flash up like the last remnants of autumn leaves or the reflections of the low sun. The impasto painting technique with thick layers of color mixed with flour reinforces the impression of the earth\u2019s heaviness and fertility. The irregular structures emphasize the rough, untamed character of nature in the changing seasons.
